Sister Spotlight: Teresa Tran

Teresa "Marvel" Tran

Teresa Tran is a second year Microbiology major with a Pre-Med intent at the University of Georgia. She joined our sisterhood in Fall 2014. Some of her hobbies include playing tennis, listening to EDM music, and dancing. She has represented ASR many times in several dance and stroll performances over the past year. Teresa has been very involved in growing and improving our sisterhood ever since she crossed last fall.

She is currently holding the positions of Social, Rush, Expansion, Merchandise Chair. On top of four chairs, she is also the Web Mistress. Having five positions is no easy task, but she is great at managing all the responsibilities that accompany these very important roles. Additionally, Teresa has been to almost every single event that the sorority has held since she has become a sister. Sisters can always count on her for help when they need it. Her outgoing personality is reflected in the strong bonds that she keeps with her sisters and the efforts she puts in to keep in touch with her syands from other organizations. Her hard work and dedication for the sorority is apparent.

Teresa’s big sister is Amy Nguyen. They are perfect for each other. Amy and Teresa immediately connected the moment they met. Even though Amy now attends a different university, they are just as close as any other Big and Little, maybe even closer. They make sure to stay close no matter the distance. Her line sisters are also an important part of her Greek family. There are five of them but that doesn’t stop her from being close to them. Every opportunity she gets, she would try to gather all five of her sisters together. Teresa and her Alpha Alpha sisters are like their own little family.

Teresa has been a wonderful addition to the ASR sisterhood and we look forward to seeing all the great things she will accomplish in the future.
