Sister Spotlight: Thunwa Klaihathai

Thunwa “XENA” Klaihathai

is currently a 3rd year majoring in health promotion with a Spanish minor at the University of Georgia. Ever since she crossed at Fall 2016, Thunwa has held multiple chairs and executive board positions. She’s not only the current president of the Alpha chapter of Alpha Sigma Rho, but she is also VP Public relations for our Multicultural Greek Council at the University of Georgia.

With all that on her plate, she still finds the time to study and place her education as one of her top priorities. She's very hard working and currently have the most amount of study hours despite her high GPA. Aside from managing her time and keeping up with all her studies, she still finds the time to fulfill her responsibilities and have fun with the sisters.

What I love most about ASR?

“What I love most about ASR is that it has given me amazing opportunities that I never would have imagined and lifelong friends and sisters, Oh and amazing memories.”

How have you grown from ASR?

“How I’ve grown is that when I first started out as a sister, I didn’t know what the heck I was doing. Various chairs and responsibilities were thrown at me but somehow, I managed it all. I’ve learned to complain less and how to communicate a lot better with others. In result of that, it has really helped me as president and VP of MGC.”

Update 12/11/2018: National Board would like to recognize and congratulate Thunwa on becoming the MGC President at UGA. We know that she will excel in her new role.
